Draft Of My Script!

Before I could actually film my movie I have to make sure I know what I wanted to film so to start with I wrote a draft script so that I could get an idea of how my trailer looks and it would help me decided how I was going to do the storyboard.

Scene 1

Establishing Shot of a Secret Service Building with a voice over from Amy

VO (Amy) – My name is Amy and I was part of the Secret Service.

Quick Blackout at the end

Film Company Logo appears on a black background and then fades out

Close Up shot of a chip being put into the back of Amy’s neck

VO (Amy) – They implanted a chip into our necks which removed all our emotions and made us invincible

Quick blackout at the end

Long Shot of Amy fighting a vampire in a training room

VO (Amy) – But it also programmed us to fight vampires making it our lives mission to protect the earth from these creatures

Long Blackout when the voice over finishes

Text appears ‘From the director of the unexpected’

On a black background and fades out

Establishing Shot of Amy at a train station

VO (Amy) – After a while I moved to Thetford to change my life and to become a normal person if it were even possible

Fade out to a white flash

Medium Close Up of Amy and Michael running from the Secret Service Building

VO (Amy) – On November 14^th with the help of Michael I escaped, which led me to Thetford from then on my life was in danger but I was used to it

VO (Amy) – With my life in danger I knew I had to go undercover so I decided to join the college and keep my identity a secret

Scene 2

Long Shot of Amy fighting a vampire on the back of the school

V0 (Amy) – Because I was programmed to fight vampires that stayed the same making it even harder and dangerous to keep my identity a secret

Amy – Michael I have to say that vampire took it right out of me but it was still fun

Michael – Amy will you ever be normal

Close Up/ Point of View Amy looking at Sam as he walks by

VO (Amy) – But little did I know that one boy would break through and activate my emotions

Low sound of a heartbeat at the end then louder when the balck screen appears then a gasp

Quick Cut to blackout shot

Long Shot of Amy fighting a vampire and Sam is watching

VO (Sam) – I knew I had to watch and protect her but there was a secret that I had to keep and watching her I knew she hunts them

Thump at the end

Long Blackout to the next shot with a thump sound

Meduim Long Shot and Close Up of Amy falling to the ground and Sam runs to Amy in shock horror

Sam – AMY!!!!!!

Amy – Ughhh

Quick blackout to the next shot

Extreme Close Up and Close Up of Sam seeing the blood and shows he is a vampire and Amy in shock horror

VO (Sam) – My secret was out and now I’m afraid to lose her

Amy – No, it can’t be

Quick cut to the next shot

Long Shot and Medium Close Up of Amy running and Sam yelling for her

Sam – AMMYYY!!!! AMMYYY!!!

Long Blackout with Sam still yelling for Amy

Scene 3

Panning Long shot of Amy punching a punching bag in slow motion

VO (Amy) – no matter how much I fell for him I was programmed to kill them and now I have to kill the one boy I fell in love with. Could I do it?

Long blackout to the next shot with voice over still going

Sam – Amy I know you’re here can I just explain

Amy – No way vampire boy are you prepared to be turned to dust

VO (Amy and Sam) – I love him/her and I knew she/he won’t going to kill me/him

Amy – I can’t do it, I have to go

VO (Sam) – I knew I had to stop her I have waited centuries for a girl like that and I won’t going to give up that easily

Quick cut to next shot and music stops

Medium Close Up of Sam and Amy Kissing then titles of the actors name and shots of the characters and goes back to the kiss

Slogan appears with a shot of the two characters

V0 (Sam and Amy) – We would now fight for our lives would we surivie
